Her World Away was created for the woman with a full-time job, a calendar full of responsibilities, and a heart that still wants to see the world.
I’ve always loved the stability of my everyday life—but I’ve also always needed something beyond the routine. A plane ticket. A weekend away. A new neighborhood to wander through. Something to look forward to.
That’s what Her World Away is about.
Sometimes adventure means traveling across the world. Sometimes it’s taking the PTO day. Sometimes it’s finding a new café after work or finally doing the thing you’ve been saving for “someday.”
You don’t have to quit your job, change your whole life, or travel full-time to make your world feel bigger.
You just have to give yourself permission to go.
For adventures near, far, and everywhere in between.

My Story
I didn’t create Her World Away because I left everything behind to travel the world. I created it because I didn’t.
I have a full-time job. I have responsibilities, routines, people I love, and a life waiting for me when I come home. And for a long time, I think I believed adventure belonged somewhere outside of all of that. Somewhere far away. But the more I traveled, the more I realized that I didn’t need to escape my life to experience one
Sometimes my world away was a plane ticket to somewhere I had dreamed about for years. Sometimes it was using my PTO for a few days away. And sometimes it was simply getting out of my routine and discovering something new close to home. Eventually, I stopped measuring adventure by how far I traveled.
A beautiful life isn’t something that only happens on vacation.
Her World Away grew from that idea—a place for women who want to see the world without giving up the lives they’ve worked hard to build. And eventually, it became something I could hold in my hands: a travel and adventure journal created to dream about where you’re going, plan the adventures you’ve been putting off, and remember the moments you never want to forget.
Because I’ve learned that some of the best parts of our lives start as something small on a list: a place I want to visit or something I’ve always wanted to try. Maybe someday.
Her World Away is about turning more of those “somedays” into memories.
I still have places I haven’t seen. Adventures I haven’t taken. Dreams I haven’t figured out yet. And maybe that’s the point. I don’t want to reach a place where I’m finished exploring.
